Plain-English summary first, then the detail. This page explains what you can do with the free plugin, the premium library, and anything we build for you. It is written to be read, not to trip you up.
Last updated Friday July 17th 2026 · A plain-English summary of how DiviVault is licensed. Where a signed agreement exists, that agreement governs.
The short version
You can
✓ Use any premium section on unlimited sites you own — Personal plan
✓ Use premium sections on unlimited client sites — Agency plan
✓ Edit, extend, and ship the code however your project needs
✓ Keep the sections you have already copied — they are native Divi code in your site
✓ Own outright anything we build for you as a done-for-you service
You cannot
✗ Re-bundle, resell, or redistribute the premium library itself
✗ Share the website Copy button, your login, or your access with non-members
✗ Give non-members a way to pull from the premium library
✗ Pass off DiviVault, or Divi itself, as your own product
The free plugin
The DiviVault plugin is free software, licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPL-2.0-or-later) — the same license WordPress and Divi use. You can install it on any number of sites, read the source, change it, and redistribute your changed version under the same license.
The free plugin also gives you an unlimited personal cloud library: your own layouts, sections, and snippets, synced across your sites. That content is yours. The GPL covers the plugin code, not the layouts you store in it.
The premium library
Every section in the premium library is Divi 5 code, and code we distribute alongside a GPL plugin carries the same freedoms. We do not try to strip those freedoms from the code you receive.
What a membership buys is access, not redistribution rights. Your membership lets you copy premium sections into sites you control — unlimited sites you own on the Personal plan, unlimited client sites on the Agency plan — and ship them as part of your own work.
You may not re-bundle, resell, or redistribute the premium library itself, in whole or in part, as a competing library, template pack, or download. You may not share the website Copy button, your login, or your access with anyone who is not a member, or give non-members a way to pull from the library.
In short: the code you copy into a real project is yours to use and ship. The library, the Copy button, and your access are not yours to hand out.
Done-for-you work
When we build something for you, a brand customisation, a child theme, an on-demand component, or a full custom site, it is your code the moment it is delivered. Nothing we hand over is watermarked, locked, or tied to a subscription. You own the deliverables outright: host them, edit them, resell your own site, or move hosts without asking us.
Any third-party assets used in a project i.e fonts, stock images, icon sets, keep their own licenses, and we will tell you which ones apply.
Attribution
None required. You do not need to credit DiviVault, link back to us, or leave any notice on the sites you build with the plugin, the premium library, or our services. A mention is always welcome and never expected.
A note on the Divi trademark
Divi is a trademark of Elegant Themes, Inc. DiviVault is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Elegant Themes. We build for the Divi ecosystem; we are not part of it.
